Neighbor helps police catch teenage burglary suspect
Honolulu police credit an alert neighbor with helping police a 17-year-old boy suspected in the burglary of an Ewa Beach home.
Police said the neighbor called police and detained the boy after seeing the suspect and another boy take items from a garage at about 5 p.m. Sunday.
Police arrested the boy detained by the neighbor. The other suspect fled the scene.
