A woman was arrested by police after she allegedly tried to cash a forged check at a Waianae business where she had previously allegedly cashed a forged check.

The 47-year-old woman, of a Waianae address, had previously cashed a forged check at the business on Nov. 20, police said. 

When the woman returned to the establishment at Waianae Mall on Wednesday to cash another forged check, she was detained, positively identified and arrested on suspicion of forgery and theft, police said.
