The first-ever Food & Wine magazine’s Favorite Food Cities Survey has Honolulu in the running.

The magazine’s editors have chosen 40 U.S. cities for public voting, according to which city has the best-looking chefs, the most adventurous diners and other categories.

Voting ends April 30, while coverage of “the most spectacular” results will be published in the September edition of the magazine, according to a statement.

For the duration of the voting and for discussion via social media, those who choose Honolulu are encouraged to use the hashtag #FWHonolulu.
