Waipahu resident Kristine Cabudol rang Taiwanese cymbals to ward off bad spirits Saturday during the Honolulu Festival at the Hawai‘i Convention Center. The festival concludes today with events at the convention center, DFS?Galleria Waikiki and Waikiki Beach Walk.

Honolulu Festival organizers want to reconnect with students who submitted artwork and messages for the 2004 Time Capsule project.

The students also are being invited to this year’s Honolulu Festival to review their decade-old submissions.

Additionally, festival organizers invite classes to participate in Educational School Tours at the Hawaii Convention Center from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.  Tuesday, March 7.

Students who submitted artwork or messages ten years ago are asked to contact the Honolulu Festival at 833-3378.
