A flood advisory for Oahu effective expired Saturday night.
According the the agency, heavy rain activity was detected via radar near Ahuimanu, with nearly stationary rain falling at a rate of about 2 inches per hour.
Other affected areas included Punaluu, Turtle Bay, Waiahole, Waikane, Pupukea, Laie, Kaneohe, Kahuku, Kahaluu, Kaaawa and Hauula.
The advisory was initially in effect until 9:45 p.m.
A flash flood watch is will be in effect for Kauai and Niihau from noon Sunday until 6 a.m. Monday, the weather service said.
