Two hikers rescued from Hahaione Ridge
Fire rescue personnel Wednesday afternoon rescued two residents in their 50s who were hiking on Hahaione Ridge.
The man and woman had hiked the ridge trail and were near the summit at 1:09 p.m. when they became stranded for some reason and called for help, fire Capt. Terry Seelig said.
No one, however, was injured.
The Fire Department launched a helicopter, which landed at the top of the trail, escorted the two into the helicopter, and flew them down at 2:45 p.m.
