Moped rider seriously injured in Kahala crash

A 25-year-old moped rider was seriously injured Wednesday in a motor vehicle crash in Kahala.

Emergency Medical Services paramedics transported the man in serious condition to a trauma center after the 6:15 p.m. accident.

The collision, involving the moped and another vehicle, occurred at 22nd Avenue and Huanui Street, EMS reported.
