Woman injured in surfing incident at Cove Park in Kihei
A 66-year-old Paia woman was treated by Maui firefighters for two cuts on her leg after she fell off her board while surfing at Cove Park in Kihei.
The incident occurred at 8:55 a.m. Monday.
Maui fire official said the cuts were two inches each on the victim’s lower right leg.
The woman declined to be taken to the hospital after she was treated by paramedics.
