Paokalani Avenue in Waikiki open again after water main break

A 12-inch water main break Friday night that shut down Paoakalani Avenue between Kalakaua and Kuhio Avenues in Waikiki has been fixed and the road has reopened, the Board of Water Supply said.

The water main was repaired at noon after it was reported broken about 7:15 p.m. Friday on Paoakalani Avenue between Lemon and Cartwright Roads. Water was restored to customers at 6:30 a.m.
