Moped, motorcycle accidents leave 2 people in critical condition
Two people were in critical condition Sunday after roadway crashes.
A woman in her 20s was critically injured in a moped versus truck accident Sunday morning on the North Shore, according to an Emergency Medical Services report.
EMS said the incident happened around 11:45 a.m. near 59-055 Kahae Road in Pupukea.
The woman was taken to the trauma center in critical condition.
Later Sunday, three people were injured — one critically — in two separate motorcycle crashes.
A 24-year-old man was critically injured when the motorcycle he was operating crashed into a utility pole along Mililani Cemetery Road around 3:42 p.m.

The man was taken by Emergency Medical Services to an area hospital.
Shortly after 5 p.m., a man and woman, both 23, were injured in a motorcycle crash on the H-1 freeway’s eastbound Kalihi onramp.
Both were taken to a local trauma center in stable condition.
