Police: Home invasion suspects break in, but leave empty-handed

[ AD HAS BEEN REMOVED FROM THIS STORY ]

Police are looking for a man with a cut toe, and a woman involved in a home invasion robbery Wednesday night in Kalihi.

Police said a 55-year-old man opened his door after a woman he knows knocked and asked to use his bathroom about 11:15 p.m. When the man declined, an unknown man pushed his way into the apartment and demanded the victim’s wallet, police said.

At one point, the man who barged in cut his toe on a knife, police said.

Both suspects fled without any property.
