Man wounded in Kalihi is taken to hospital in serious condition
A 47-year-old man was transported to a trauma center in serious condition Tuesday with either stab or slash wounds, the Emergency Medical Services said.
EMS said the report of the wounded man at Kamehameha Highway and Puuhale Road came in at 3:56 p.m.
Police arrested a man at 4:42 p.m. on suspicion of second-degree assault at 2136 Bannister St.
Police said a knife was used in the assault.
