Man arrested for alleged stabbing at a Kalihi bus stop
A 22-year-old Nanakuli man was arrested after he allegedly stabbed a 47-year-old man at a Kalihi bus stop on Tuesday.
Emergency Medical Services said the victim was taken in serious condition to the hospital after being treated at Kamehameha Highway and Puuhale Street at 3:56 p.m.
A police report said the victim’s injuries were minor.
The stabbing occurred while the two men were arguing at the bus stop across the street from the Oahu Community Correctional Center, police said.
The suspect was arrested on suspicion of first-degree assault, just three blocks from where the incident occurred.
