A 20-year-old Aiea man was charged after he allegedly smashed the window of a moving vehicle with a baseball bat in Salt Lake.

Police said a 19-year-old man reported he was driving when the older man shattered the window about 10:15 p.m. June 24.

The younger man recognized the suspect and drove to the Kapolei police station to report the incident.

Police arrested the suspect at his home at 5:30 p.m. Thursday. He was charged Friday with first-degree criminal property damage, and his bail was set at $20,000.
