Hickam man charged for allegedly choking stepson
A 32-year-old Hickam Air Force Base man was charged Friday with choking his 15-year-old stepson during an argument.
Police said the man was intoxicated when he restrained the boy’s breathing during an argument about 3:40 p.m. Thursday.
He was arrested a couple hours later on Freedom Avenue on Hickam Air Force Base and was charged with abuse at 6 p.m. Friday. His bail was set at $20,000.
