UH picked to finish last in MWC West division

LAS VEGAS >> The University of Hawaii football team is predicted to finish sixth among six West Division teams this season, according to the preseason media poll released on Tuesday morning at the Mountain West Conference Football Media Days.

The Rainbow Warriors were 1-11 last year in Norm Chow’s second season as UH head coach.

Fresno State received 15 first-place votes and 174 points to edge San Diego State (15 and 172) in the West polling.

Boise State earned 20 first-place votes and 183 points as the favorite in the Mountain Division.

West Division
