Aiea man arrested after standoff with police
A 45-year-old Aiea man is in police custody after he allegedly threatened his live-in girlfriend Thursday and barricaded himself from police for two hours.
Police said the couple argued just after 5 p.m. Thursday, when the suspect locked himself in the Aiea house and threatened to harm himself and police. After two hours the suspect surrendered to police.
Officer arrested him on suspicion of first-degree terroristic threatening.
