UH soccer team falls to Arizona State in opener
The Hawaii soccer team scored early and late in its 2014 season opener, but in between it was all Arizona State as the Sun Devils rolled to a 5-2 victory in the Outrigger Resorts Shootout on Sunday at Waipio Peninsula Soccer Stadium.
ASU freshman Aly Moon notched a hat trick and and assist in the victory.
Senior Alexis Colacchio and sophomore Lauren Takai had UH’s goals.
The Rainbow Wahine will try to bounce back against Texas (0-0-1) on Monday at 5 p.m.
