Police arrest teenage son of woman killed in Waimanalo
Honolulu police arrested a 15-year-old boy on suspicion of murder in connection with the death of his 36-year-old mother Thursday night at their home in Waimanalo.
The medical examiner identified the woman as Shanell Moku.
The cause of death was blunt force injuries to the head and face. The manner of death was classified as a homicide.

Paramedics took Moku to the hospital in extremely critical condition after an apparent assault, according to Emergency Medical Services. Police said she died at the hospital.
Officers found Moku unresponsive at her home on Bell Street at about 8:45 p.m. and arrested the boy on suspicion of second-degree murder.
