University of Hawaii Rainbow Wahine's Kalei Adolpho puts down a kill against St. John's Red Storm's Aleksandra Wachowicz, left, and Danisha Moss in the second set of the Hawaiian Airlines Wahine Volleyball Classic at The Stan Sheriff Center in Manoa, HI on Saturday September 6, 2014.

Hawaii’s second loss of the season resulted in a drop of two spots in Monday’s AVCA Coaches Top 25 volleyball poll.

The Rainbow Wahine (4-2) slipped out of a tie at No. 20 to No. 22. Both teams that have beaten Hawaii moved up in this week’s rankings, Arizona State from 17 to 15, and Oregon from 22 to 18.

Stanford moved up a spot to No. 1, receiving 52 of the 60 first-place votes. The Cardinal defeated former No. 1 Penn State in five over the weekend; the Nittany Lions, with one vote, dropped to No. 3.

Texas, with four votes, moved up a spot to No. 2 and Wisconsin, with three votes, remained at No. 4.

Hawaii hosts Utah State, No. 25 UCLA and San Francisco in the Outrigger Resorts Challenge that begins Thursday at the Stan Sheriff Center.
