Pearl City man held after domestic spat allegedly turns violent
Police arrested a 52-year-old Pearl City man Saturday night after he allegedly assaulted a woman with whom he shares a residence.
According to police, the pair were engaged in a verbal argument that escalated into physical violence.
The victim, whose age was not disclosed, suffered substantial bodily injury as a result of the confrontation, police said.
The suspect was arrested Sunday morning on suspicion of second-degree assault.
