A 90-year-old driver of a minivan and his 87-year-old female passenger were seriously injured Wednesday afternoon in a two-vehicle accident fronting the Pearl City Police Station.

Emergency Medical Services personnel treated and transported the two from the accident scene to a hospital in serious condition.

The accident occurred at 2:04 p.m. Wednesday at 1100 Waimano Home Road, the location of the Pearl City Police Station.

Police said a vehicle traveling south on Waimano Home Road made a left turn, and another vehicle heading north collided with that vehicle, but it was unknown which vehicle the couple was in.
