Lanai woman charged with physical abuse of 92-year-old grandmother

The Maui County Police issued a press release Thursday regarding two separate cases involving abuse of a household member.

In one case, Blair Boucher, 45, was charged with physical abuse of household family member physical with injury.

According to the police, on Sept. 11, Boucher got into a heated argument, while intoxicated, with the victim who is her 92-year-old grandmother. The argument turned physical when Boucher pushed her grandmother within the residence, causing injuries. The victim was transported to the Lanai Hospital where she was treated and released.

In the other case, Shane Nacnac, 50, was arrested and charged for the offense of Felony Abuse of Household Family member, 

According to police, on Sept. 19, while arguing with his girlfriend, a  50-year-old Lanai resident, Nacnac grabbed the victim by the neck and choked her. The victim reported the assault ib Sept. 23.

Bail for Nacnac, of Hilo, was set at $5,000. Bail was set at a $1,000 for Boucher.
