The Hawaii soccer team concluded its 2014 season with a 0-0 draw in double overtime at Cal State Northridge on Sunday afternoon.

It was the first tie of the season for the Rainbow Wahine (7-10-1, 2-5-1 Big West), who were already out of contention for the Big West tournament entering a two-game road trip this week.

But UH shut out both opponents, including a 1-0 win over UC Irvine on Thursday, after failing to record a clean sheet in all 16 previous matches of the season.

Goalkeepers Erica Young and Monk Berger split the workload. Young played the first half and Berger was in for the second half and both 10-minute extra periods.

UH outshot CSUN (7-10-2, 4-3-1) 18-12. The Matadors were already assured a spot in the four-team league tournament.

It was the final match for seniors Ashley Haruki, Hayden Gibson and Alexis Colacchio. Other outgoing players Krystal Pascua, Korinne Estrada and Olivia Stanford did not play.
