A man believed to be in his 60s was in critical condition after he was found unresponsive in waters off Ala Moana Beach Park on Monday afternoon.

A swimmer and a surfer brought the man to shore, where lifeguards performed CPR until paramedics arrived.

The man was transported to a hospital in critical condition.

The incident occurred just 75 minutes after a 69-year-old man was pulled unconscious from waters off Waikiki Beach. That man was also taken to an area hospital in critical condition.
