Police closed off Puiwa Road Monday morning after a water main break.
A 12-inch main water break forced the closure of Nuuanu Elementary School on Friday.
Also affected by the break, which was reported at 7 a.m. on Puiwa Road, was St. Francis Hospice which also was without water. But the Board of Water Supply said water has been rerouted to the hospice and the main was fixed about 8:30 p.m. and restored service to five other affected customers.
Puiwa Road, between Parks street and Pali Highway, was closed for road repairs.
