Hawaii County police arrest man in stabbing case
Hawaii County police arrested a 57-year-old man Thursday morning after a stabbing in the Paradise Park subdivision.
About 9:40 a.m., police learned that a 32-year-old man was stabbed with a knife in his upper abdomen.
The victim was transported to Hilo Medical Center for treatment, and was later flown to the Queen’s Medical Center.
The suspect, was arrested on suspicion of first-degree assault. He is being held in the Hilo Police Station cellblock.
