The Honolulu Medical Examiner’s office has identified the woman who died after crashing into a vehicle while roller skating in Makakilo as Sarah Stanislawski, 28, of Honolulu.

The office said Stanislawski died of blunt impact of the head and ruled her death an accident.

Stanislawski was roller skating downhill on Jan. 6 in the middle of Kikaha Street when she apparently lost control and collided with a BMW heading towards Kapolei on Makakilo Drive, police said.

She died at the scene.
