Wailuku storage building fire causes $10,000 in damage
Maui firefighters are investigating the cause of a fire at a Wailuku storage building that caused an estimated $10,000 in damage Saturday morning.
Firefighters were dispatched to a possible structure fire around 1:50 a.m. and arrived to see a 16-foot by 20-foot storage building with light gray smoke, Maui fire officials said.
The fire was brought under control and extinguished shortly after. Damage is estimated at $6,000 to the structure and $4,000 to its contents.
