Voggy, drizzily weather associated with a passing weather system is expected to move past Oahu and over Maui County by Thursday night. But another cold front approaching the islands could bring more Kona winds, vog and rains on Monday.

The forecast for Honolulu and south shores of Oahu Thursday and Thursday night calls for mostly cloudy skies and scattered showers with lows in the 60s.

Rains on Oahu overnight and Thursday morning dropped .43 inches at Schofield Barracks. About a third of an inch fell in Waianae.

Winds will turn northerly Friday with partly cloudy skies and passing showers.

Light tradewind weather is forecast through the weekend.

The forecast for Super Bowl Sunday calls for sunny skies in the morning, becoming partly cloudy in the afternoon with some light showers.

Winds should turn southwesterly Monday as the front approaches, bringing back the vog. The National Weather Service predicts a 50 percent chance of rain Monday and a 70 percent chance of rain Monday night for south shores of Oahu.
