Inmate arrested, returned to woman’s prison
A Women’s Community Correctional Center inmate who failed to return to prison last week, turned herself in on Wednesday.
Grace Tagaolo failed to return to WCCC from her furlough day pass on Jan. 30.
State sheriffs arrested her after she voluntarily turned herself in to Keawe booking station at 12:20 p.m.
She was returned to the Windward Oahu prison at 4:15 p.m.
Tagalo was serving time for owning a prohibited firearm, reckless endangering, terroristic threatening and assault. She now faces an additional charge of second-degree escape.
