Florida high school cornerback signs with Warriors

Stephen Tsai

Rojesterman Farris, a cornerback from Coral Springs Charter High School in Florida, told the Honolulu Star-Advertiser he has signed a letter of intent to play for the University of Hawaii football team.

Farris said he is 6 feet 1, 180 pounds and is capable of running 40 yards in 4.5 seconds.

He played both cornerback and wideout at Coral Springs, but is projected to compete on defense for the Warriors.

UH linebackers coach Kurt Gouveia had evaluated Farris at a Football University combine in California the past summer.

UH is “a good program for me,” Farris said.
