Hawaii moves up to No. 4 in men’s volleyball poll
The Hawaii men’s volleyball team, winning its last eight matches, moved up two spots to No. 4 in the AVCA Coaches Top 15 poll Monday.
The Rainbow Warriors (15-3, 12-2) also received one first-place vote for the first time this season. It is the highest ranking for Hawaii since being ranked No. 4 during the 2010 season.
The top three spots remained unchanged, led by efending national champion Loyola-Chicago. Lewis stayed at No. 2 and UC Irvine No. 3. The Rainbow Warriors are tied with the Anteaters atop the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation standings at 12-2.
