H-3 reopens after crash leaves 2 critically hurt
A 22-year-old man and a 23-year-old woman were critically injured Sunday when their stalled vehicle was struck from behind by another vehicle on the H-3 freeway.
According to police, the two were in a Camaro that had stalled in the left eastbound lane of the highway Sunday morning. The vehicle was struck by a truck driven by a 44-year-old man.
The two injured people, both in critical condition, were transported by Emergency Medical Services to a local trauma center. The truck driver refused treatment at the scene.
