Hawaii island police seek information on drum theft

Police on Hawaii island are investigating the theft of a $1,000 Chu-Daiko drum stolen last month from the Boy Scout camp on Stainback Highway.

Police said the burglary occurred between March 18 and March 22.

Anyone with information about the burglary or about the location of the stolen drum is asked to call the police department’s non-emergency line at 935-3311. 

Tipsters who prefer to remain anonymous may call the islandwide Crime Stoppers number at 961-8300 and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.
