Apparent near-drowning in Waikiki sends man to hospital
Lifeguards brought a man to shore and began administering CPR after he was found floating face-down in waters off Waikiki Beach Sunday afternoon.
Paramedics continued trying to revive the man and took him to the hospital in critical condition, following the apparent near-drowning at about 4:30 p.m. in the ocean off the Moana Surfrider Hotel, according to an Emergency Medical Services report.
