Police looking for suspects in Liliha bank robbery

These security camera images, released by CrimeStoppers and the Honolulu Police Department, show two suspects in the robbery of the American Savings Bank branch in Liliha Tuesday.

Police were looking for two male suspects Tuesday in a robbery at an American Savings Bank in the Liliha area.

Police said the robbery occurred shortly before 1 p.m. at the branch at LIliha Street and Vineyard Boulevard.

Two males entered the bank at 1425 Liliha St. One of them allegedly handed the teller a demand note while the second suspect waited by the door, police said. 

Police said the two fled westbound on Vineyard Boulevard in a light-colored vehicle.

The first suspect was described as having dark eyes, 5-feet 2-inches tall, and weighing about 120 pounds. He was wearing a black wig, a long-sleeved gray shirt and light-colored shorts. 

The second male suspect wore a red shirt, shorts and a baseball cap.
