Police look for gunman, driver in UH-Manoa robbery
A man armed with a handgun robbed a resident in a University of Hawaii-Manoa apartment overnight.
The suspect asked to use the phone inside the apartment at the Hale Noelani complex at about 1:38 a.m. Once inside, the suspect brandished a handgun and demanded the resident’s wallet, UH-Manoa campus security reported.
He fled in a vehicle driven by a waiting accomplice.
The suspect is described as five-feet, six-inches tall, weighing about 220 pounds, with pock marks on his face. He was wearing a black hoodie.
The accomplice is described as six-feet, two-inches tall wearing a red t-shirt. He was holding a knife in his right hand, campus security said.
The vehicle was a light-colored, four-door sedan.
