A 17-year-old boy was arrested following a botched robbery attempt in Waikiki on Sunday morning.
According to the Honolulu Police Department, the suspect took merchandise from a store then used physical force against a clerk as he tried to escape.
After a brief scuffle, the clerk detained the suspect and called police.
The suspect was arrested at the scene on suspicion of second-degree robbery.
