Man allegedly shoves Waikiki store employee during theft
Prosecutors on Wednesday charged a 38-year-old man who allegedly robbed a store in Waikiki.
David Thomas, who has no local address, was charged with second-degree robbery.
Thomas allegedly tried to leave a Waikiki store without paying for merchandise and allegedly shoved a store employee while attempting to flee, police said.
The alleged robbery occurred at 7:50 p.m. Tuesday.
Thomas’s bail was set at $20,000.
