Man’s body found near Point Panic surf area
Ocean Safety, firefighters and a good samaritan recovered the body of a man in his 40s Sunday morning outside of the Point Panic surf area.
The body was found around 10:19 a.m. about a half mile off shore near the Point Panic surf area.
The man was pronounced dead on arrival.
The body was brought into the Ala Wai Harbor, Shayne Enright of the Honolulu Emergency Services Department said.
