Police looking for suspect in Apple store thefts

Honolulu police released security camera images and video of a suspect in a theft from the Apple Store in Kahala Mall on May 18.

Honolulu police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a male suspect who stole items from the Apple Store in Kahala.

Police postedsecurity camera videos Opens in a new tab on YouTube and the honolulupd.org Opens in a new tab website of the suspect, who entered the Apple Store in the Kahala Mall on May 23 at about 2:11 p.m. and took merchandise without paying.

In both cases, the suspect was dressed in a white t-shirt, black shorts and slippers. In the May 18th incident, the suspect was wearing a black cap.

Police said the suspect may be the same person who took items from the store on May 18 at 1:10 p.m.
