Kamehameha Highway has reopened in both directions from Puuhale Road and Laumaka Steet in Kalihi, after firefighters put out a blaze at a used car dealership. 

Nine fire companies, with a total of 35 firefighters, responded to the scene at Approved Auto Sale, 2232 Kamehameha Highway shortly before 5 p.m., said Honolulu Fire Department Capt. David Jenkins. 

The fire, which apparently ignited in an upstairs unit at the business, was contained within about four minutes, Jenkins said. 

No injuries were reported
