Woman killed in fiery Pearl City crash identified

The medical examiner identified an 84-year-old woman, killed in fiery crash earlier this month as Kay Donahue, of Pearl City. 

The cause and manner of of her death have been deferred, pending results of other tests. 

Police said Donahue lost control of her vehicle shortly before 2 a.m. Aug. 15 while heading north on Waihona Street, about 350 feet makai of Kamehameha Highway in Pearl City. Her vehicle went off the road and down a 30-foot ravine before it became engulfed in flames. 

Donahue was the only one in the vehicle.
