Power restored in Kalihi, Nuuanu and downtown
Power has been restored to businesses and homes in Kalihi, downtown Honolulu and Nuuanu following a near hour-long outage.
Hawaiian Electric said the outage was touched off by damaged equipment on Wyllie Street.
The problem was reported at 9:30 a.m. and repairs were completed by about 10:20 a.m.
