9 injured, 2 seriously, after bus collides head-on with car on Haloa Drive

Nine people were injured Sunday when a bus collided head-on with a car on Haloa Drive near Ukali Street. 

The incident was reported at 12:23 p.m. 

A 35-year-old man and 43-year-old woman were seriously injured. Both were transported to a local trauma center. A 64-year-old man, and 51-year-old woman suffered minor injuries and were also transported to the trauma center. 

Five others, including an 8-year-old boy, also sustained minor injuries and were taken to an area hospital. 

According to an Emergency Medical Services report, the injured included one person from the car and eight from the bus. The report did not specify which person was in the car.
