Police arrested a 26-year-old man with no local address who allegedly entered a Waikiki apartment Sept. 17 and remained there until the resident awoke. 

Police said the man entered the home and unlawfully stayed there until 9 a.m. 

When the resident awoke and confronted the man, the suspect fled. 

Police said there were signs the suspect had searched the apartment and some property was missing. 

Police later identified the suspect and arrested him Thursday morning on suspicion of first-degree burglary.
