LOS ANGELES » Police say four people invaded and robbed the California home of Washington Redskins receiver DeSean Jackson.

The Los Angeles Police Department confirmed Friday that the invasion occurred at Jackson’s home in the Tarzana area. Police say four suspects invaded Jackson’s home early Wednesday morning.

Officer Aareon Jefferson says five people were home, but Jackson was not among them.

Jackson’s publicist Denise White says the receiver is currently in Virginia practicing with the team. White says Jackson had no knowledge of the incident until he received a phone call Thursday evening.

Detectives are investigating but have no leads, arrests or suspects.

Police would give no further information on the invasion including whether the suspects were armed or whether anyone was injured.
