More lane closures announced for emergency work on Wilson Tunnel
The Wilson Tunnel has large wooden support beams and barriers blocking one town-bound lane.
Emergency repairs to the Wilson Tunnel are scheduled to continue through Nov. 5, resulting in further lane closures along Likelike Highway.
Crews are removing concrete barriers from inside the tunnel.
The two Honolulu-bound lanes of Likelike Highway will be closed from the H-3 freeway split through the Wilson Tunnel during the following days and times:
» Saturday, 9 p.m. – 4 a.m
» Tuesday , 9 a.m. – 7 p.m.
» Wednesday, 9 a.m. – 4 a.m. (Thursday)

Also, lanes in Kaneohe direction, from Valley View Drive through the Wilson Tunnel, will be closed Sunday at 9 p.m. to Monday at 4 a.m. One lane in the Kaneohe direction will also be closed nightly from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. from Monday through Friday.
The Department of Transportation advises motorists to take Pali Highway and H-3 freeway as alternate routes.
