Lifeguards Tuesday removed shark warnings signs near the popular Canoes surf spot off Waikiki Beach.
A 7-foot grey reef shark was spotted at about 3 p.m. and the warning signs were posted and then taken down at 5:30 p.m.
It’s the second time in a month that lifeguards have posted warning signs at a Waikiki beach.
On Oct. 25, two sharks were seen off Duke’s Waikiki and near the Old Man’s surf spot by Kaimana Beach.
